Meetings & Events Diary
Our monthly meetings take place on the last Tuesday of most months, running from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the Small Hall at Hadleigh United Reformed Church, 1 Church Road, Hadleigh, Essex, SS7 2DQ.
The church is located at the western end of Church Road, directly opposite the car park for the Iceland store. Parking is available in the car park behind the adjacent Choice store.
Meeting Fee:
- £2.50 for members (includes refreshments)
- £4.00 for friends and neighbours

Hadleigh Ray Walk
Terry is talking a walk along the sea wall towards the old Salvation Army jetty and then on to try to find the lost site of Poynetts Dock to arrive at low tide. If any members wish to join him, please be ready to leave the Two Tree Island car park sharp at 11am to make the best use of the low tide.
Terry will be happy to point out any possible archaeological features along the way (sunken boats, the ford across the creek to the island and the “lost” Mill Fleet” once leading to the castle dock).
The walk will take about an hour each way. No shelter, no toilets and nowhere to get a cup of tea!. Terry will wear wellies whatever the weather, so that he can go into the mud should the need arise, but the walk will be mainly along the sea wall.
